Early 19th Century Giltwood Demilune Console with Breche d'alep Marble Top

Console table, having a demilune form top of breche d'alep marble, its carved giltwood base having a central plaque of a quiver, crossed by Hermes' staff, flanked by laureling, its pierced, scrolling, foliate apron in a frame of gadrooning and beading, raised on four, spiral-carved, tapering legs, headed by blocks outcarved with flaming urns, ending in touipe feet.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition. Wear and minor losses to gilding consistent with age and use.
